Who We Are

As a Church

Mission

We believe that God has called Ashland Christian Fellowship to build His kingdom here and abroad!

Core Values

Care
Care for others is at the center of ACF's values. Just as God cares for us, we strive to care for the people around us by serving them and meeting their needs.

Grounded
Character, integrity, and accountability will always be the foundation of who we are. Who we are will define what we do.

Better Together
At ACF we are one family, united with one purpose, striving together for the glory of God.

Build People
We actively seek to cultivate the character and talents of others, empowering them to step into their God-given calling.

No Limits/Know Limits
We pray big, risk often, and trust our limitless God for impossible results while also recognizing our human limitations and dependence upon Him.

Anchored
In the face of challenges, we remain anchored to Jesus, endure hardship, practice resiliency, and continue moving forward in faith.

Humble and Hungry
We recognize that we are all works in progress. We remain teachable, pursue growth, and value the feedback and wisdom of others.

Six Pillars of Ministry

Lead Through Love
We lead like Jesus by allowing love to shape every conversation, decision, correction, and interaction. Love becomes the filter through which ministry is done.
(Matt. 12:28-31, John 13:1, John 3:16)

Seek the Lost
Every ministry at ACF should have a heart for reaching lost and hurting people. Seeking the lost is not limited to outreach ministries alone; it is part of the culture of the entire church.
(Luke 19:10, Matt. 28:18-20, Luke 15:8-10, Luke 5:31, Romans 10:17)

Share Life With Others
We believe ministry happens best in authentic relationship and community. We are better together and are called to walk through life with one another.
(Heb. 10:24-25, Ecc. 4:9-12, Acts 2:46, James 6:16a)

Develop People
We intentionally disciple, mentor, and equip others for leadership and ministry. Healthy ministry multiplies by developing people who can carry the vision forward.
(Phil. 2:3-4, Prov. 14:4)

Serve With Compassion
We desire to see people the way Jesus sees them and respond with compassion. We do not simply see problems; we see people who need the love and shepherding heart of Jesus.
(Matt. 23:11-12, Matt. 9:36, John 13:12-17)

Give Generously
We give generously of our finances, time, spiritual gifts, abilities, and lives. Generosity reflects the heart of Jesus and ties all the other pillars together.
(2 Corin. 9:7, Prov. 11:25, Luke 6:38, Matt. 10:8, Acts 20:35)
